It's been almost 1.5 years since I started using agents, and I have realized that I went back in certain ways, besides improving in some others I was used to focusing on a single part of the codebase for an entire day. I never had an issue with what the youngsters today call ADHD. Focusing for the entire day on logic was mentally exhausting, but it had its advantages that you knew exactly what you were working on Now, with the activation energy of spinning up another task going down to zero, I can empathize with people having difficulty focusing I have good immunity against addictions by this point, but this one is different. Because unlike something like youtube, for example, agents are indeed doing useful work for you. And the mind can easily rationalize spinning up yet another agent. "I am just expanding my work output after all" But I've been made to realize that it doesn't work out.
