I went spelunking in some old hard drives and found some of my writing that goes 20 years back to 2006, to high school When I was myself pretraining over English wikipedia The cool thing with this is, I can do a stylometric analysis of how my writing changed over 20 yearsImage hidden -

I can't shake the feeling that there is a mathematical and physical theory underneath our interaction with agents, underlying this gradual increase in automation in our lives Until now, cybernetics was to control theory what astrology is to astronomy (or what AI was to ML, to be less harsh) A lot of the work done under the title "cybernetics" was snake oil (excluding foundational work like Wiener's), modeling without application, infinite formulizing in vacuum (this statement might enrage some, that is why I am not generalizing to "all the work") But now, towers of automation the likes of which we have never seen are rising [1]. In the digital world, first, and in the physical word, soon We all use and experience them, the agents. Just like people who were using the telegraph and the telephone, for decades before the word "bit" had entered our dictionary It feels like the world is ripe for a new theory. Maybe it is time for cybernetics to be relevant again Just some shower thoughts [1]Image hidden -
every time i type "moron", a subagent should spawn and do this tbh
