It is such an interesting thing to collect your own data

My data trove contains not only workouts but 2.5 years of random conversations, ideas, jokes

From this, I can create a map of my mood, psychological state, personality changes over all this time

If I record enough of myself, I can even learn an AI myself

In a way, we don't even need to develop good enough brain scan tech to be immortal (which I was anticipating in my lifetime, as I wrote 2 years ago in another HN front page post https://solmaz.io/why-should-anyone-boot-you-up)

We just have to record enough data of ourselves, to capture the whole distribution, if that were ever possible

We believe we precious human beings are infinitely complex creatures, with infinite capacity for action

Maybe over a long time... But at any given time t, we are finite, and we are bound by a finite inner world and distribution

That means a lot of the celebrities whose every moments are recorded are already immortal. Maybe not their inner world, but their external persona

And e.g. if @bryan_johnson is recording is private life in such a way as well, then he might already be the first digital immortal, inner and outer persona
